ok.... so i might be leaving for basic training earlier than i thought.......my contract says i'll be leaving for fort jackson in july.......but my sergeant and i've been talking and he's thinking about sending me sooner :) but i don't even know if that's possible, b/c of the lack of spots open in Virginia (Army School of Music).....

i'm not physically ready to leave yet, and i kinda want to enjoy my summer, but it's going to be so stinkin' hot in the middle of july in the middle of south carolina....and also if i leave sooner, the weather will be nicer at Virginia Beach.....where I'll be doing my AIT. :)

this is just an update for everyone, since i know it's been awhile..........

not to complain or anything, but work is becoming tiring...... i'm getting sick of it, lol......but it's a job.... and it pays......and it's not forever........but doin' the same old crap everyday is getting old- fast.......ugh........owell- i guess i'll just have to deal with it a little while longer until i leave........

and one thing that i'm learning about myself: i think i spend way to much time worrying about what everyone else thinks and trying to please them....and to be happy, i need to just worry about myself..... and i'm starting not to really care anymore.....i'm not all the way there yet, lol, but i'm getting there...... and i feel like i've changed so much since i've been out of high school- it's only been 2 yrs.... i'm not as strong in my faith as i once was, but i'm learning what the world has to offer.......outside of my faith- is that bad? i feel fake sometimes.......and fake ppl ANNOY me so much.... nm, fake is the wrong word-i'm not fake....i'm just........confused, i s'pose......

well i have to work at 6 tomorrow morning- hopefully it won't go by too slow and it'll be a good day- ttyl- noelle

Ok, I am no longer living in Ankeny. (Short story: my gma is moving and I couldn't get into the DMACC apt's in Ankeny). So now I'm living at home. I've switched jobs (currently working at the Fareway in Winterset) and campuses (will be taking night classes at the Urban Campus in Des Moines). I was really stressed before cuz I didn't know what I was gonna do and I wasn't ready to go back and etc.... but I feel a lot more relieved now....

Sometime this weekend I'll have to drive up to Des Moines near downtown (yikes!) and see where the campus is so I'll know where to go on Monday. I can't believe classes start in a couple of days! But I think this semester will go by smoothly... I hope anyway...

I'm so glad that I've had the opportunity to work at Fareway in Winterset and am happy that it's working out that I'll be able to stay. :) Not that I'm trying to bash my previous job, but here, the ppl- employees and customers both- are a lot nicer... and they seem real... which is pretty nice that I get to work w/ppl like that. And I stay busier here. Obviously my job isn't perfect and I have my frustrations, but overall, it's pretty swell. :)

I should prolly get to sleep- I have to get up early in the morning to get my car fixed, clean house like mad, and make a few phone calls. 'Night, y'all!
